About
What is Anchor MSU

Anchor Christian Fellowship
Our mission
Anchor Christian Fellowship is a Christian fellowship and registered student organization at Michigan State University. We are a community of people dedicated to seeking God, building authentic friendships, and growing in our faith together in East Lansing.
At Anchor MSU, we believe that your time at Michigan State is a life-changing season. We provide a welcoming space for students from all backgrounds—whether you’ve grown up in the church or are exploring Christianity for the first time. Our mission is to build a Christ-centered community where you can grow in faith and discuss the bigger questions of life on campus.
The Team
The staff mentors
In the summer of 2025, a team of staff moved to the Midwest with a vision of starting an Acts 2 church in East Lansing, MI. For many of us, college was a transformative time. Jesus’ all-consuming call grabbed a hold of our hearts as we experienced the power of God’s word and the richness of a biblical community. It’s an experience we want to pass on to others so we plant churches in college towns!
Our leadership team consists of people who have moved to East Lansing, MI from across the United States. They bring a wealth of experience from other college contexts, church plants, and ministry abroad.

Leo and Corinne
The people behind Anchor
Hello!
Leo and Corinne Chick are the leads of Anchor Christian Fellowship at MSU. During their college years at UC Berkeley, they gave their lives to Christ and caught the vision of sharing the gospel with other college students. For 11 years, they served in ministries in California at UC Berkeley and Santa Barbara, and then in 2025, God led them (and their two kids) to East Lansing to start a fellowship here at Michigan State University (go Green go White!). Here, their hope is that many students would personally know Jesus, and that their lives would be forever changed as theirs were in college.
